They say six people are enough to connect anyone to anyone else. Óscar Escalante suspects fewer are needed.

In 3 DEGREES , mentalism turns that idea into something that can be seen and, sometimes, even felt: an invisible thread between two spectators, an impossible coincidence, a memory that finds its place.

And when everything seems to fall into place, a simpler question remains: what truly unites us?

Oscar Escalante has been doing magic for over 40 years and continues to ask himself the same question when preparing a show: what will the audience take away when it's over?

She has worked in the streets, in theaters, and at festivals. Along the way, she has received national and international awards, but what interests her most happens before going on stage: testing an idea, discovering what it lacks, deconstructing it, and starting again.
