La Sonrisa was founded as a theatre group in 1987, inspired by theatrical research into clowning. The fundamental basis of our work is the production of our own shows, both for indoor and outdoor performances.
We belong to the La Parrala Performing Arts Center, ARTESA, the Te Veo Association and the NGO Clowns Without Borders, of which we are the delegation in Castilla y León.
The Crazy Ones . A pioneering center worldwide for the study of human stupidity, led by the renowned stupidemiologist Dr. Bacterio and his disciple, specialist in "Illogical Sciences," Dr. Virulín. Both are internationally known for the discovery of Stupidine, a molecule extremely resistant to
any kind of intelligent reasoning. Since this colossal discovery, all his research has focused on finding an antidote to save humanity from stupidity.
