From October 16 to 30 , at the entrance of the Palencia Public Library , you can visit the exhibition 8 Women, 8 perspectives for the graphic novel.

Contemporary comics is a constantly evolving field, open to new perspectives, languages, and narrative styles. In recent years, a generation of female authors has made a decisive contribution to this renewal, exploring the intimate, the social, and the experimental from diverse positions and with distinctly recognizable voices.

This exhibition brings together eight comic book artists— Rut Pedreño, María Medem, Conxita Herrero, Roberta Vázquez, Nadia Hafid, Pepa Prieto, Cecilia Varhed, and Julie Legrand— who represent a vibrant, diverse, and expanding creative landscape. Their works demonstrate the medium's evolution toward new expressive territories and the existence of a cultural, publishing, and readership increasingly receptive to personal and daring proposals, establishing comics as a fully relevant artistic space.
