During the months of October to December 2026, the Zamora Public Library continues with the program of oral storytelling sessions for all audiences.

Friday, October 30. Vero Rilo (Mugardos)

Vero Rilo (Mugardos, 1984) Oral narrator who is trained with references in Galician and international oral storytelling such as Charo Pita, Tim Bowly, Quico Cadaval, Pepito Mateo, Nono Granero, Paula arballeira, Rodorín, Pablo Albo or Soledad Felloza , and attends the AEDA Summer Schools.

He began his acting training with Carlos Neira EspazoAberto, Santiago de Compostela. Receives regular training in theatrical improvisation with teachers Antón Coucheiro and
Alfonso Lupo. He takes acting workshops on camera with Alfonso Zarauza and takes vocal technique classes with Pablo García Ferradás and Cristina Domínguez da Pena.

He currently works in the Vero Rilo company, alone or with musicians such as Santi Cribeiro and Luís Iglesias . It is part of the Galician Oral Narration Association NOGA

Thus begins the story, with a declaration of intent: we want to stay awake and climb as high as we want, however we like. When we fall, there are the hands of our friends, like those of the old women who lived, ate, and slept together... or the hands of the cow that laid an egg and those of her companions, the hens... or... or, or, or... Do you want to know more? Well, you'll have to listen to THEM.

A storytelling performance for adults by Vero Rilo (Daboapipa, Apatacón, Rilo&Penadique...). ELLAS is a selection of life stories—original, traditional, and collected—that aims to give voice to the nameless women who live within each of us. Friendship, humor, memory, eroticism, and resilience are what they are about.
