The thinkers featured in this book were chosen not as enemies, of course, but precisely as participants in a kind of friendly fire that always arises from confusion or error, and cannot be assumed to be malicious. From the feminist perspective, dialogue is established with such relevant and contemporary figures as Judith Butler, the decolonial feminist Yuderkis Espinosa Miñoso, the authors of the Manifesto of a Feminism for the 99%, the philosopher Rossi Braidotti, and Donna Haraway. In addition to examining the proposals put forward by all these thinkers and attempting to understand them, this book aims to keep the debate open with these positions and assess whether they can indeed constitute something like "friendly fire."
Luisa Posada Kubissa was a Professor of Philosophy at the Complutense University of Madrid, where she taught feminist theory. She was a member of the Permanent Seminar on Feminism and the Enlightenment, directed by the philosopher Celia Amorós since 1987, which was a training ground for contemporary feminist theorists.
