On Thursday, November 26th at 7:00 PM, in the Auditorium of the Palencia Public Library , organized by the Ateneo bookstore, a literary meeting will be held with the author Rodrigo Cortés who will present his work Daughter of Heaven .

Gabaón is a village perched on the edge of a cliff, facing the sea, but it's also a school, an orphanage, a monastery. Sixty-one busy, purposeful nuns live there. And three indolent priests, with the gaunt, upright Father Alén at the helm, his voice like a bread grater a whisper away from Mother Adriana and her enormous glasses. And a girl, perhaps possessed, in a windowless room. And the Handsome Man inside her. And a swarm of lost characters to muddy the waters.

Rodrigo Cortés is a film director, screenwriter, producer, and writer. As a writer, he published *A las 3 son las 2* in 2013 and his first novel , *Sí importa el modo en que un hombre se hunde *, in 2014. His collection of short stories, *Dormir es de patos *, was published in 2016, and his second novel, * Los años extraordinarios *, in 2021. In 2024, he published *Cuentos telúricos*, an anthology of short stories and his sixth book. He discusses film, literature, and music on *Aquí hay dragones * and *Todopoderosos *, two of the most listened-to podcasts at the moment.
