Set in Spain in the late 1980s, the story depicts how terrorism has become the country's main threat. Our protagonist, Loren, confronts ETA's extortion with nothing but his unwavering determination.

At the other end of Europe, the Soviet giant is crumbling, dragging all the surrounding countries down with it. Hekate, a headstrong young Bulgarian woman, falls victim to the prejudices of a society clinging to outdated customs.

Both will have to redirect their lives and to do so they will not hesitate to venture down uncertain paths.

Two cultures and two histories that will eventually meet in a small town in Castile.

Paco Sanz Valentín (Olombrada, Segovia. 1963).

He began publishing with Olombrada, a Century Photo by Photo (2014), a book he created with Pedro Cárdaba. This was followed by El mus es la vida misma (2016), a mus manual that has been widely circulated throughout Spain. In 2023, he returned to his roots with Olombrada, Memory of a Town , a work with historical undertones that also includes a more sentimental side.
