The rock paintings of Peña del Pozo Rocebros are a natural legacy that our ancestors wished to leave etched in stone for future generations. Scenes of daily life, hunting, fruit gathering, and the local fauna can be observed. The rock art dates from the late Bronze Age to the early Iron Age. This impressive cliff face can be seen from a forest track that connects the villages of Castrocontrigo and Morla de La Valdería, in the province of Leon.

The hiking trail leading to the site is quite difficult, so it is recommended to wear mountain clothing and footwear.
