Stones with legends to tell
Castle of Fermoselle
The castle could have originally been a military settlement. It dates from the beginning of the 13th century, and after becoming the property of Doña Urraca, who chose this fortress as a place of retirement, the castle was taken by the Portuguese troops in 1654. In the 18th century it appears that it was repaired, although it is currently ruined. Today it is a viewpoint easily accessible from the Plaza Mayor where you can get beautiful views of Los Arribes del Duero.
