The period between the 10th and 13th centuries saw a rise in the founding of new monasteries and the reopening of many former convents. Today, this route in the province of Palencia offers visitors the chance to discover some of these buildings of immense historical and cultural value belonging to various religious orders and that were of considerable importance, particularly between the 14th and 16th centuries.
