A route that allows visitors to enjoy the province of Palencia’s countryside and observe male deer in their natural habitat. It starts with the Reservoir Route that runs from Cervera de Pisuerga to Velilla, taking visitors through magnificent settings where they will have the chance to examine every detail close up.

In the narrow valley visitors will be able to hear the call of the deer and observe them in their habitat either through binoculars or a telescope. The route also takes in other sites such as Aguilar de Campoo which has a magnificent Romanesque Interpretation Centre.

This route also includes the following sites of interest: the viewpoints at La Varga and La Varga Alba de los Cardaños, the Fuentes Carrionas and Fuente Cobre-Montaña Palentina Visitor Centre in Cervera de Pisuerga, Salinas de Pisuerga Bridge and the Monastery of Santa María la Real in Aguilar de Campoo.
