Situated in the east of the province of Ávila, the Alberche Valley and the area known as Tierra de Pinares boast a wealth of built heritage and stunning natural landscapes. A deep narrow valley crossed by the River Alberche stretches out to the south between the Paramera Mountain Range and the final foothills of the Sierra de Gredos mountains.

Travellers will have the chance to explore Burguillo Reservoir and admire the Guisando Stone Bulls, a fine example of Celtic culture, as well as breathtakingly beautiful scenery, such as the Hoyocasero Pine Forest, and the traditional architecture of the towns of Cebreros and Burgohondo.

This route also includes the following sites of interest: Castañar de El Tiemblo and the Adolfo Suárez and the Transition Museum in Cebreros.
