Astorga never forgets the germ from which it was born and is always proud of its rich history. For this reason, every year, for decades, it travels back in time to return to the Roman city of Astúrica Augusta with one of the oldest historical recreations.

Conferences, exhibitions, period markets, tribal camps, parades and competitions between Asturians and Romans fill the city with vibrant activity and lots of fun.
