This festivity is not only celebrated by residents from Fariza, but also from the neighbouring towns of Mámoles, Badilla, Zafara, Tudera, Cozcurrita and Palazuelo. Unsurprisingly, it also attracts the residents of nearby Portuguese towns, who carry their banners with pride.

Events get underway on the Saturday with a mass in honour of Saint Julian; games of pétanque are held in the afternoon, and an outdoor dance brings events to a close in the evening.
