Colinas del Campo de Martín Moro Toledano
In the Boeza River Valley, 1200 meters above sea level, and between Sierras, is the Colinas del Campo de Martín Moro Toledano, belonging to the municipality of Igüeña, at the eastern end of the Comarca del Bierzo. With fertile soil, it is an area of ¿¿great ecological value for its birches, holly, oak, serval, hazelnut, yew, currant and a multitude of wild flowers.
In its Historical Complex, a medieval bridge stands out as an element that connects the two parts of the town, highlighting its popular architecture. In this place a battle took place in 918 between the troops of the Leonese king Ramiro II and Almanzor. From this town various routes are made to the Catoute peak.
