The importance of this Augustinian monastery of Burgos was that there were a school of Arts and a Seminary of Theology, and on the other hand, provided skilled missionaries to go towards the Americas and the Philippines. But the biggest attraction of the monastery is the ‘Santo Cristo’ that was found in the sea by a man of Burgos.
