This church has a basilica-type ground plan with three naves separated by pointed arches. It is one of the most beautiful and complete examples of Mudejar art.

The first historical reference appears in a document of 1110. Although the present building was built later, the original structure probably dates from the first half of the 13th century. It is located in the centre of the old Moorish and Jewish quarters, at the intersection of the north and west sections of the wall surrounding the village of Shogun. The interior of the church is decorated with images and altarpieces attributes to the school of Becerra and Gregorio Fernández. It currently houses the Sahagún Easter Museum.
