This parish church by Rodrigo Gil de Hontañón contains a large baroque altarpiece. The church has a one-room ground plan with large columns, vaults and three apses.

It has numerous documentary references throughout the late Middle Ages. It is a large building arranged over a short hill and has a front with rough arches to access the old cellars of the temple. It is built on good masonry of limestone of the region.
