It adorns the upper part of its Mudejar apse with a single order of slender arches that start from a plinth of disproportionate height.
Inside, in the main chapel, the arches are repeated and the corner frieze already appears and above the deep straight section of the presbytery rises a bell tower as a cimborrio (lantern tower) covered with a half-orange dome on pendentives.
