The Reserve of Nuestra Señora del Carmen is a historic garden next to the Roman road of the Via de la Plata.

This reserve was promoted by the Count of Trespalacios, who enjoyed its natural environment, having in it just a small garden house and an oratory. It was fundamentally a landscape project designed by the architect Tomas Veyrant finished in 1910 and of Valencian influence. The sculpture of children playing is also interesting. A garden of 4 hectares, with a large stairway and little squares up to reach the octagonal arbour which was built with wood and branches.
