Statue of Christopher Columbus
A piece by Sevilian Antonio Susillo. Designed with a piramidal shape, the admiral's group is in the upper part, kneeling in the bows of the ship that took him to the new continent.
The Admiral's group sits on a base in the shape of the earth globe, surrounded by a ring that reads "Non Plus Ultra", with a lion representing the Spanish nation that tears off the word "Non".
