In the Brañuelas Railway Museum you will learn about the history of the railway and the enormous importance it had for this town in León. Inside, the visitor begins a journey through history. In this process, as if it were an open book, the pieces on display reveal the day-to-day life of the railway profession, which was made up of different trades dependent on each other which gear. Documents, 19th century manuals, unrepeatable photographs, books, signs, communication systems, alarms and a multitude of objects of various kinds that explain the evolutionary changes since the first steam locomotives began to plow through our landscape in 1868. Today it counts with a model railway, scale N of 12 square meters. A composition that is mostly handmade and that represents a window to the past for all those who at some point traveled by train. Hundreds of memories and anecdotes reappear in the minds of those who come to visit the Brañuelas Railway Museum.
