It is a typical Maragata construction of the town, with a large entrance gate, a cobbled patio, an interior balcony and a series of rooms where a collection of 299 pieces, numbered and owned by the neighbors, who voluntarily ceded them in order to be exposed.

The house has two floors. The visitor information office is located on the ground floor, and there are also activities such as conferences, meetings, screenings and other cultural events throughout the year.

A certain area of ¿¿the patio has been used to create a small stage where different representations are made during the summer season.

Through an inner gate you access the original kitchen of the house with its large fireplace, its oven, its pantry, its fresquera and many objects related to the activities of the estancia.

Just in front of the kitchen another large room is used to house many utensils used over the years by the residents of Somoza and where the chocolate past is discovered through books of beads, stones to make chocolate "on the stone" , molds and a certain amount of agricultural tools.
