It begins in Yanguas, in Tierras Altas de Soria, and after passing near Soria, it continues towards El Burgo de Osma, San Esteban de Gormaz where it crosses the Duero River.

From here begins a tour of the provinces of Segovia and Ávila, always at the foot of the Sierra de Guadarrama in the case of Segovia and passing through the Sierra de Ávila. It enters the province of Salamanca through Puente del Congosto, towards Montemayor del Río, where it leaves Castilla y León.

In addition, the Cañada Real Soriana Oriental is one of the best preserved, with a diagonal layout, from northeast to southwest, different from the typical meridian route of the Cañadas Reales.

In the Sierra de las Cabrejas it crosses with La Galiana, in Soria.

With the Cañada Real Segoviana it does so in the Port of Somosierra and with the Oriental Leonesa in the Guadarrama port.

It is also close to the Leonesa Occidental in Venta del Hambre (Ávila), and that of La Plata in Los Santos, near Béjar (Salamanca).
