From Cordiñanes de Valdeón to Refugio Collado Jermoso

The shelter Collado Jermoso is located on a natural terrace on the western edge of Macizo Central. It has the best views of the valley of Valdeon and the peaks of Macizo del Cornion.

In order to access we begin from Cordiñanes, a hard stretch due to the slope, and continue to the stony place of Argayo Congosto. One of the functions of the shelter is to be the beginning of some routes to the interior of Macizo Central, routes only recommended for veteran mountaineers.
