The Sierras viewpoints trail is a five-kilometer circular route between Santibáñez de la Sierra and San Esteban de la Sierra, easy to navigate and specially designed for family-type tourism.

It runs through three very different spaces. At first, it crosses land dedicated to self-consumption cultivation where the hand of man is appreciated, such as orchards, vineyards and, to a lesser extent, olive and cherry trees.

In the second section, of thick forest, all the tree varieties of the natural spaces of the area are concentrated; It is also the ideal refuge for native fauna, such as foxes, wild boars, roe deer or wild cats.

Finally, in an open and clear landscape, the large balcony emerges, the natural viewpoint; It offers fantastic panoramic views of the river Alagón. From here you can see large birds and enjoy spectacular views of the natural area of Las Quilamas and the Salamanca mountains of France and Béjar, territories declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.

Both Santibáñez de la Sierra and San Esteban occupy a singular place among the mountain ranges of the Southeast of Salamanca. The light, the aroma, the landscapes, the mountainous horizon, its natural wealth and the nightly concerts of stars are just some of the attractions of these territories.

They are also ideal places to taste the wines of the Protected Designation of Origin Sierra de Salamanca.
