The route goes south, in search of the banks of the Duero River. After crossing some farmland, Holm Oak wood, accompanied by some evergreen Eurasian shrubs as well as by Black Poplars start appearing. Further ahead begin the wetlands, surrounded by bulrushes providing a wealthy habitat for birdlife.
