Within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, policy lever 5 "Modernization and digitalization of the industrial fabric and SMEs," and Component 14 "Modernization and Competitiveness of the Tourism Sector," respond to the need to transform and modernize the tourism sector in Spain, increasing its competitiveness and resilience from a comprehensive perspective, including four strategic axes that have become its main investments.

Investment 1, "Transforming the tourism model towards sustainability," aims to implement tourism sustainability actions in its three aspects: environmental, socioeconomic, and territorial: DESTINATION TOURISM SUSTAINABILITY PLANS.
