The Sierra de Francia Wine Route is located in the south of the province of Salamanca, making it one of the tourist areas of Castilla y León with the greatest historical, natural, heritage and cultural sense. In addition, it houses one of the greatest treasures preserved: the Rufete native grape variety, cultivated in terraces.

The Sierra de Francia Wine Route invites you to enjoy, without haste, the privileged surroundings such as The Batuecas-Sierra de Francia Natural Park and the Sierras de Béjar and France Biosphere Reserve; feel the purity of our natural landscapes through hiking trails, MTB-ready trails and accessible paths that you can explore with family or friends; let yourself be seduced by our gastronomy and traditional dishes, such as roasted potatoes or cochifrito goat, accompanied by our excellent DOP Sierra de Salamanca wines; visit the family wineries with their centuries-old history and passion for wine, with families who love what they do, and do what they love, and get lost in the network of stone streets and popular architecture that make up our towns and municipalities.
