- Arribes Wine Route
The Arribes Wine Route is located in the Arribes del Duero Natural Park between the provinces of Salamanca and Zamora. It has about 180 kms of fluvial canyons that in contrast to the peneplain has generated an ideal microclimate for the cultivation of vineyards.
Its border situation and far from the urban centers gives it an oasis character in the confines of Castilla y León with views of Portugal. A
paradise nestled between granite canyons and metamorphic rocks, too known as arribes, arribas or arribanzos, which outline the Douro River.
The partners of the Wine Route, offer different perspectives of the area: architecture, culture, history, gastronomy, nature... and all together are a photograph of the reality of Arribes.
