Lovers of history and architecture will enjoy discovering the finest examples of Segovia’s Romanesque style on this route, dotted with stone and brick temples and buildings that reveal the predominant architectural style in this province, characterised by the inclusion of a portico or atrium attached to the temple walls.

Torrecaballeros, Sotosalbos and the two eye-catching churches of Pelayos del Arroyo and La Cuesta, perched on a hilltop, are absolute musts for visitors on this route, which reveals surprising buildings and other Romanesque-style objects such as gates, frescoes and baptismal fonts.
