From Ctra. Hoyos-Plataforma (1.553 m) to Domingo Fernando (1.160 m)

Located in the Sierra de Gredos Regional Park. The road begins at km 6 of the Hoyos del Espino Highway to the Platform. During the first 4 km you ascend gently to the source of the Covacha stream.

Crossing the stream, the path continues along a steep zig-zag until reaching a hill.

The path along the southern slope is a steep zig-zag descent along the cobbled path. Further down the road enters a pine forest of resin pines next to the Cantos River until reaching the Domingo Fernando refuge and then to the forest track where this path ends.
