Argentina 2010. A widowed, retired father lives his retirement by making homemade perfumes as a passion. His two sons, now independent, visit him periodically and try to free him from his isolation. Meanwhile, a grandmother known as the Mothers of May , or disparagingly, the Madmen of May, searches for her granddaughter; her daughter was kidnapped and murdered by the so-called Argentine military during General Videla's dictatorship.

The play takes place in various, alternating spaces, where we see how characters interact with each other, creating an intertwining story that will lead us to discover a terrible truth. Each character's past will be revealed, and a devastating final decision will change the lives of all the characters.
