Tourism is one of the main drivers of the economic development of our territory. Tourism activity has been shown to generate employment, create economic opportunities in less developed areas, encourage investment in infrastructure and generate substantial income through taxes.

This growing activity and its enormous social and economic potential is today a benchmark for inland tourism, given the compendium of resources available to it and which cover fields as diverse as culture, the environment, sports or gastronomy and its wines. Hence, a high percentage of tourist activity in Castile and León is carried out in rural areas, where most of this inventory of resources is brought together, whatever type they may be.
