On Thursday, May 15th at 7:00 p.m. , in the Auditorium of the Palencia Public Library , a literary meeting will take place with Alejandro Palomas.

Alejandro Palomas (Barcelona, 1967) holds a degree in English Philology and a master's degree in Poetry from New College in California. He has combined fiction writing with poetry and the translation of important authors. As a novelist, he is the author of Una madre (A Mother), Un perro (A Dog), Un amor (Nadal Prize 2018), and Una vida (A Life), the series of novels starring Amalia, which portrays a family that has captivated thousands of readers. He is also the author of works such as El tiempo que nos une (The Time That Unites Us), the testimony Esto no se dice (This Is Not Said) , and the young adult novel El día que mi hermana quería volar (The Day My Sister Wanted to Fly). In 2016, his novel Un hijo (A Son) received the National Prize for Young Adult Literature. His work, which has been adapted for the stage and soon to be filmed, has been translated into more than twenty-five languages.
