From March 10 to April 7 , in the Hall of the Public Library of Palencia , you can visit the painting exhibition Women of the 21st Century by Beatriz Gómez Zazurca.

The exhibition consists of portraits of women who, from different fields and activities, have made a decisive and positive contribution to changing the world we live in.

The works are created using dry pastels, both sticks and pencils, with a wide range of colors and on good quality, heavyweight paper. This material is ideal for creating color gradients. The technique used is photorealism, which combines drawing and painting.

Each work in the exhibition captures the features and expression of a face, emphasizing the eyes and especially the interplay of gazes that arises from observing someone who, in turn, perceives what is in front of them.
