A band. A bad streak. An unexpected call. A risky decision. A lot of ignorance and an unforgettable trip to a parallel universe. An explosive mix that takes the Kimchi Band, or at least a couple of its members, to live in just five days a trip to the most hermetic territory in the world: North Korea. Specifically, chance leads them to be hired to perform in the only town in the country (Kijong-Dong) that is located in the so-called demilitarized zone (DMZ) of the 38th parallel. The parallel that divides, since the times of the Cold War, the two Koreas. But from the moment they arrive in the country they realize that nothing there turns out to be what they expected. Neither the why, nor the how, nor the what for.
