ROGRAM:
11:00 a.m. Reception in the town of Morales de Toro to go to the vineyards, where they will explain to us, depending on the time of year, the work and care that they require. Pruning in the winter months, harvest between September/October and spring care when the vine is veraison (in flower).
The approximate duration of the visit to the vineyard is 1 hour and we will be accompanied by a well-known winegrower in the area and one of the founders of the Toro DOP. Once the visit to the vineyard is over, we head to a small family winery where in the hands of its owner we enter the fascinating world of the production and history of said winery to finish with the oenology where we will taste and taste its wines.
Next, we go to the renowned local restaurant, El Chivo with its wine cellar where we will enjoy the food.
In the afternoon we will visit the Pagos del Rey Wine Museum, where one of its guides will explain the history and culture of the Toro wine-growing area, they will give us a chance to taste their wines and they will take us for a walk through their magnificent gardens. To complete the activity, we recommend visiting Toro, with its Collegiate Church and viewpoints ending in the Plaza Mayor of this town.
