Esta aldeia está intimamente ligada a uma fábrica de papel cujas ruínas se encontram no final da décima primeira e décima segunda eclusas que formam uma eclusa dupla. Os pombais, exemplo predominante da arquitectura desta aldeia, encontram-se bem conservados.
Em Olmos de Pisuerga, perto da décima primeira eclusa, encontra-se o Acueducto del Pendón, um dos aquedutos do Canal.
