Churches and Chapels
Parish Church of Los Santos
The church, built in granite, consists of two well-defined parts: the 13th century main chapel and one of the few examples of the oldest Gothic in the province, and the naves, added in a reform carried out in the 16th century.
The head, rectangular in shape, is covered by a pointed barrel vault and scalloped arches. The body of the church has three naves divided by semi-circular arches on pillars.
Highlights include the wide portico that protects the southern access, also dated from the 16th century, and the slender quadrangular tower at the foot of the southern nave. The gable, with a simple Renaissance cover, was also added in the middle of the 16th century.
