It is a circular route that begins and ends in the Plaza de la Iglesia de Morales del Rey. The route runs along trails and roads of the Sierra de Carpurias between Morales del Rey and Quiruelas de Vidriales .

Leaving the town center behind, we ascend the winery road between Peña Redonda and Teso. The first place of interest is located in the Llanos , an area that, as the toponymy reveals, is a flat plateau at altitude. From the Llanos you can see the valleys that form the Arroyo de la Espinilla , the Arroyo de las Forestanas and the Arroyo del Reguerón with the Sierra de Verdenosa and the Las Labradas Wind Farm in the background.

There is the possibility of taking a 2 km detour to two springs that flow with water throughout the year. The first spring is known as the Fuente de Valmatao , a name given to the valley in which it is located. The second spring, known as the Fuente del Peral , is located in the municipality of Quiruelas de Vidriales and pours its waters into the Laguna del Peral .

Points of interest 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 are the valleys that give their name to the route, specifically 5 valleys with their corresponding ascents and descents, valleys with cereal crops and vineyards that have little riverside vegetation in the streams. that cross them: Valleoscuro, Valdefinjas, Valmediano, Vallagrande and Valmatao .

The route ends with a path between holm oaks that runs along the peaks of the Sierra de Carpurias and from which you can see the fertile plain formed by the Eria and Órbigo rivers near their confluence.

The Route of the Valleys has two elements of interest, ornithological tourism linked to the tandem formed by the masses of holm oaks with dryland crops, and wine tourism with traditional vineyards and wineries.
