Its construction dates back to the early years of the XV century, coinciding with the arrival to the city of San Vicente Ferrer. It is a temple of easy trace, which consists of a single rectangular nave. Remains of the first temple are the pointed Gothic arches preserved on the exterior side and that were discovered in the last restore. It consists of semicircular arches on jambs and topped in triangular pediment.

The dressed voussoirs, which are framing the hollow, and the mouldings of the pediment, constitute the unique exterior decoration of the hermitage, along with the murals that surround the façade, almost disappeared, representing false architectural motifs and which can be dated from the beginning of the XVIII century.
