Collective exhibition of the students of the Down Segovia Art Workshop (ASIDOS)

The Art Workshop of the Asidos Down Syndrome Association of Segovia was founded in 2021 as a space for creation, learning, and community where art becomes a tool for expression and personal growth. This project explores the creativity of people with disabilities, boosting their self-esteem through goal-oriented work and the public presentation of their artwork.

WITH AN OPEN EYE. A dialogue between school and books

This exhibition is an invitation. To look slowly. To look with others. To look with the curiosity of someone who doesn't seek closed answers, but questions that open up.

With an Open Eyes was born from the encounter between school and books, between educational experience and artistic creation. In this project, we have adapted, in our own way, the Responsible Education program (Botín Foundation), based on the resource "Literature, Emotions and Creativity", promoted by the CFIE of Segovia and the CSFP of Soria, and developed by the students and teachers of CEIP La Pradera, CEIP Villalpando, CEE Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza and CEIP San Gil, accompanied by Gael Zamora Lacasta.

The Expanded Word

This project explores the power of words, expanding into the visual realm of images and performance. It showcases artworks that interrelate visual arts and words, exploring their fusions and cross-pollinations. This is achieved through painting, drawing, installations, objects, photography, videos, and performances, all of which are permeated by language. The project features artists from diverse countries and generations, selected for the powerful impact of their experimental, groundbreaking, open, and hybrid works.
