INTUR 2025

The Regional Government will be present at the INTUR 2025 fair to showcase its leadership in world heritage, wine tourism, and rural tourism, promote tourism in Castilla y León , and emphasize the diversity of its heritage, natural, and food and wine resources. The Castilla y León stand, measuring 447 square meters in Hall 2 of the Fair, will feature a large stage for presentations of regional products and projects, those of the Provincial Tourism Boards, and the Castilla y León tourism quality brands, Rutas del Vino (Wine Routes) and Brand "Posadas Reales"), which will have a prominent area on the stand. There will also be a space dedicated to food and wine, in collaboration with the Castilla y León Hospitality Federation and the Castilla y León Wine Routes. Throughout INTUR, various presentations and gastronomic tastings will be held featuring quality local products, which will be offered to visitors. To enhance the stand and attract visitor interest, various activities will be carried out. One of these will involve virtual reality, which will allow visitors to explore, in a unique and creative way, one of the museums under the Ministry's control: the Sabero Steel and Mining Museum.

To support tourism marketing, the Regional Ministry will once again collaborate in the celebration of INTUR Negocios, the professional part of the fair, which will take place on November 13 in Hall 1. It will feature scheduled business meetings between national and international tour operators and industry leaders (INTUR B2B), as well as a training and debate day on the current tourism situation, new challenges, and new ways of selling and marketing destinations (INTUR Talks).

AR-PA Cultural Tourism

The AR-PA Cultural Tourism fair, organized by the Regional Government, will once again be held in its annual format, "consolidating this new era and reaffirming the professional, social, innovative profile and forum for debate that has always characterized this fair. AR-PA Cultural Tourism, whose image will specifically support Las Medulas Cultural and Natural Space this year, is a vibrant space for exchange, innovation, and collaboration. More than 3,000 square meters equipped with all kinds of facilities and services will host exhibitions, conferences, and meetings," said Santonja.

The Minister explained that the central theme this year, "Artificial Intelligence and Cultural Heritage," responds to the need to explore how AI is transforming the conservation, management, dissemination, and enhancement of cultural heritage. Therefore, AR-PA Cultural Tourism promotes the use of new technologies in the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage, in the management of cultural offerings, and in the promotion of cultural tourism, providing spaces for the demonstration of innovative solutions.

An important part of AR-PA is focused on education and awareness-raising about the value of culture, cultural heritage, and its impact on cultural identity, as well as promoting sustainable tourism, showcasing strategies that respect and preserve heritage, and presenting cultural tourism models that integrate local communities and foster their economic development.

Over the course of three days, an exchange of best practices in management will be held, showcasing examples of sustainable management in cultural, artistic, heritage, and tourism projects and promoting the efficient and responsible use of resources. The objective is to connect cultural heritage with society, promoting its knowledge, educational function, use, and enjoyment. At the same time, it aims to contribute to economic development by strengthening the business and professional sectors.

Therefore, this event will bring together companies, institutions, foundations, associations, universities, and industry professionals, offering a unique space to share projects, generate synergies, and explore the transformative role of emerging technologies in heritage conservation, management, and dissemination.

The fairgrounds will host more than 67 exhibition stands, including one from Telefónica, one of Spain's leading technology companies. Other entities that will be present include IPCE, ARESPA, the Exposition "Edades del Hombre" Foundation, Las Medulas Foundation, Tresminas, the Atapuerca Foundation, the Royal Glass Factory, Zamorarte, and Artsburgensis, among others.
