His passion for cooking led him to begin his career as a pastry assistant in Brazil, later working in various restaurants in his native country before venturing to Portugal.

After returning to Brazil and completing his higher education at the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina, he returned to The Yeatman in 2018, permanently joining the kitchen team. Currently, as sous chef at The Yeatman Hotel, Diego plays a fundamental role in the execution of the culinary offerings that distinguish the hotel and its two-Michelin-starred restaurant.

Their experience and dedication contribute to raising the quality and consistency of the cuisine, inspiring the team with their talent and technical rigor.
