The Museum of La Calceta is included in the thematic framework of Ethnology and Anthropology, collecting, classifying and studying cultural elements characteristic of the region in which it is located (Vega de Saldaña) and, therefore, pays attention to folklore, traditions, ways of life and popular customs, highlighting the recreation of a village house, a school and various trades characteristic of the rural environment. This museum transmits the traditional popular culture of Palencia, as well as the identity and diversity of its people and material and immaterial manifestations.
