Living passion - Covarrubias
Data from 1972. As night falls every good Friday, the living stage of Christ's way of the Cross begins so as if they were sculpted figures in four dimensions and along the most beautiful corners of the medieval villa, the procession composed through nazarenos, the imaginery and the public walk and observe with devotion the still figures of the actors during the time that the course lasts. Eleven exterior steps and three in the Former Collegiate Church of San Cosme and San Damián represent the passion of Jesus ¿¿in an original, singular and unique format in Spain.
Organizes the Center of tourist initiatives of Covarrubias, collaborates with the City council of Covarrubias, but the real protagonists are the more than eighty young actors linked to the people and more than fifty other volunteers who organize, coordinate or perform technical, costume, or work work, etc.
