The San Francisco Extrapontem Convent was a Franciscan institution built in the 14th century on the left bank of the Duero River.

The preserved historical architectural part is limited to the remains of the convent head: the apse from the 16th century, the lateral chapels of Ocampo and Escalante from the end of the 15th century and the funerary chapel of Dean Don Diego, the work of Juan Gil de Hontañón. Remains of the old cloister and the old cellar are also preserved.

It was rehabilitated in 1996 according to a project by the architect Manuel de las Casas, integrating a functionally effective complex through the combination of the old stone factory with the glass and steel of the coatings that dominate the intervention. All this incorporating a cafeteria, classrooms, a residential area and a library into the historic complex.
