The strip mining known as Grupo Ciñera or Pozo Ibarra, in Pola de Gordon, are an industrial complex considered of tourist attraction as part of the history of the place today. A memory linked to the extraction of coal, trade that has left its trace in the urban landscape. It is a place where stands out the gallows frame and elevator to go down to the mine, with an iron structure characteristic of the XIX century; a piece of architectural singularity. A structure of great weight and height that is kept with a tower with four columns divided into seven sections, all of them joined with posters of sheet decorated with angle crosshead.

A modern tower and at the same time historic, sign of what the place was and its inhabitants lived.
