It is inaugurated within the events celebrated on the occasion of the Millennial of the Monteros de Espinosa (1006-2006). The museum has three rooms, two of them dedicated to the history of Espinosa de los Monteros and a third, reserved for temporary exhibitions.
Inside the main room, the visitor can find all the most important representative elements of the body of the Monteros de Espinosa. Historical body formed for many years by natural hidalgos from Espinosa de los Monteros and whose mission was to watch over the dreams of the kings. The museum offers the possibility of viewing historical documentation along with the official military uniforms belonging to the Monteros, some of which date from the Napoleonic era. Other uniforms on display represent various units of the Royal Guard.

A second room is dedicated to the Battle of Espinosa, fought on November 10 and 11, 1808 against the Napoleonic troops. In it you can find three models representing the advance of both troops, as well as different pieces of weapons and utensils found on the battlefield.
In the temporary exhibition room there is a spectacular exhibition of old clocks, from the 19th and 20th centuries, owned by Miguel Ángel Merino.
